Vivo X Fold 3 Pro India Launch Date Accidentally Revealed on Company Website; Specifications Teased
The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will be available in India in a Celestial Black color.
The launch date for the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro in India seems to have been accidentally revealed on the company’s website. Footnotes on the phone’s promotional page indicate that it will be available for purchase starting the first week of June. This flagship model will be the first Vivo foldable smartphone to launch outside of China. It was originally announced in China in March and features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, Zeiss-branded cameras, and a 5,700mAh battery.

Vivo has created a dedicated microsite on its India website to hint at the arrival of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. According to the disclaimer section on this listing, the launch date is June 6, aligning with previous leaks. However, the official launch date has not yet been announced by the brand.
The microsite also confirms that the Indian variant of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will be available in Celestial Black. The device’s carbon fiber hinge is rated for 500,000 folds. It will feature Google-powered Gemini AI, including AI note assist, AI transcript assist, and AI screen translation. The handset will have an 11.2mm thickness when folded and weigh 236 grams. It will be available for purchase via Flipkart.
The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is the first foldable smartphone from Vivo to be launched in global markets outside of China. Previously, the X series foldable smartphones were exclusive to Vivo’s home country since their introduction.
The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro was launched in China in March, priced at CNY 9,999 (approximately Rs. 1,16,000) for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. It runs on Android 14 with OriginOS 4 on top in China. The device features an 8.03-inch primary 2K (2,200×2,480 pixels) AMOLED display and a 6.53-inch (1,172×2,748 pixels) AMOLED cover display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS4.0 storage. The phone includes a Vivo V3 imaging chip and a carbon fiber hinge.

In terms of optics, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro boasts a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel main camera. Additionally, it has 32-megapixel selfie cameras on both the outer and inner screens. The phone is equipped with a 5,700mAh lithium battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
