Vivo has introduced the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro and Vivo X Fold 3 as its latest foldable smartphones in China. These feature-rich devices are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors and Vivo’s V3 imaging chip. Weighing 219 grams, the Vivo X Fold 3 claims to be the lightest among book-style foldable phones. The Vivo X Fold 3 series showcases an 8.03-inch AMOLED inner screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Both phones come with a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup and offer up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is priced at CNY 9,999 (approximately Rs. 1,16,000) for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage variant, and CNY 10,999 (around Rs. 1,27,600) for the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage model.
As for the Vivo X Fold 3, it starts at CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 80,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version, and CNY 7,499 (approximately Rs. 87,800) for the 16GB RAM + 256GB variant. The 16GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration is priced at CNY 7,999 (about Rs. 93,600), while the 16GB RAM + 1TB version costs CNY 8,999 (roughly Rs. 1,00,700). Both models are currently available for purchase in China in Feather White and Thin Wing Black colors.
Specifications of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro
The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, equipped with dual SIM (Nano + eSIM) support, operates on Android 14 with OriginOS 4 layered on top. It boasts an 8.03-inch primary 2K E7 AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,200×2,480 pixels, delivering a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and supporting Dolby Vision and HDR10. Additionally, it features a 6.53-inch AMOLED secondary display with a resolution of 1,172×2,748 pixels. Both displays offer a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and are protected by Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) with armor glass coating. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with an Adreno 750 GPU. It is available in configurations with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS4.0 storage. The handset also incorporates Vivo’s custom V3 imaging chip.
The Vivo X Fold 3 series features a Carbon fiber hinge weighing 14.98 grams, which is reportedly 37 percent lighter than previous-generation hinges. TUV Rheinland has certified it to endure 500,000 folds, ensuring durability and longevity.
In terms of camera specifications, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is equipped with a triple rear camera system. This setup consists of a 50-megapixel primary camera featuring an f/1.68 lens with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor providing 3x optical zoom capabilities, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. Powering the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is a 5,700mAh lithium battery, which supports rapid charging with up to 100W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities. The fast charging technology enables the battery to reach full capacity from 0 to 100 percent in just 31 minutes. When unfolded, the device measures 159.96×142.4×5.2mm and weighs 236 grams.
