Vivo has launched the V30e in India, featuring a 5,500mAh battery and a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

The Vivo V30e boasts a 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) 3D curved display, offering a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo V30e made its debut in India on Thursday, May 2. This new addition to the Vivo V30 series is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and boasts an IP64-rated build, providing water and dust resistance. Compared to last year’s Vivo V29e, the Vivo V30e 5G offers enhancements, including a remarkable 50-megapixel front camera. It is equipped with a robust 5,500mAh battery with 44W charging support. Running on the Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14, the Vivo V30e is set to receive three generations of Android updates.

Vivo V30e price in India, availability

The Vivo V30e comes with a price tag of Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB option is priced at Rs. 29,999. Available in Silk Blue and Velvet Red color variants, the phone will hit the shelves for purchase starting May 9 through Vivo’s India e-store, Flipkart, and partner retail outlets.

Customers making purchases using ICICI, SBI, IndusInd, IDFC, and other banks can enjoy a 10 percent discount. Additionally, HDFC and SBI bank customers are eligible for a flat 10 percent instant discount.

Vivo V30e specifications

The Vivo V30e operates on Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14 and supports dual nano SIM cards. Vivo has committed to delivering three generations of Android updates and four years of security updates for this new device. It boasts a large 6.78-inch full-HD+ 3D curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits peak brightness, and a 93.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. Powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and 8GB of RAM, it can virtually expand its onboard RAM up to 16GB.

In terms of photography, the Vivo V30e sports a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, accompanied by an Aura LED flash. On the front, there’s a 50-megapixel selfie camera capable of 4K video recording, just like the rear setup. It offers up to 256GB of internal storage and comes with an IP64-rated build for protection against splashes and dust.

Connectivity options on the Vivo V30e include 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and USB Type-C. It also features various sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.

The Vivo V30e comes equipped with a 5,500mAh battery that supports 44W wired fast charging. The battery purportedly offers up to 22 hours of YouTube streaming and up to 53 hours of music playback. The device measures 7.65mm in thickness and weighs 179 grams.
