Scheduled for April 23, the event is expected to unveil four new products, although their specifics are yet to be officially confirmed. The teasers provided by Xiaomi hint at the launch of various personal technology items and home appliances. While details remain obscured for now, speculation suggests that the lineup might include a tablet, true wireless earphones, a robot vacuum mop, and a hairdryer. An earlier leak hinted at the Chinese tech giant’s plans to introduce a new Redmi Pad variant, along with new TWS earphones featuring active noise cancellation (ANC), and a self-cleaning vacuum cleaner in India. However, the leak did not provide any specific details regarding the expected models.

Speculation suggests that the anticipated TWS earphones could possibly be the Redmi Buds 5 Pro, touted as a premium edition of the Redmi Buds 5 launched in India earlier this year in February, priced at Rs. 2,999. These earphones boast 12.4mm dynamic drivers, 46dB ANC support, and are claimed to deliver up to 38 hours of total battery life on a single charge.

The speculated tablet set for launch in India might be the Redmi Pad SE, which made its debut in Europe in August 2023. Priced starting at EUR 199 (approximately Rs. 18,000) for the 4GB + 128GB variant, this tablet is powered by a 6nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 onboard storage. It runs on Android 13-based MIUI Pad 14, sporting an 11-inch full-HD+ (1900 x 1200 pixels) LCD display and is fueled by an 8,000mAh battery with support for 10W wired USB Type-C charging.
