The rumored price of the Samsung Galaxy Ring in India suggests that it might be accompanied by a monthly subscription plan.

It is rumored that the Samsung Galaxy Ring will be priced in the range of $300 to $350 in the US.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring, which boasts health tracking features, was initially teased during the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event in January. Speculations suggest that the South Korean tech giant might officially unveil the wearable at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, rumored to occur on July 10. Although Samsung has remained tight-lipped about the pricing details for the Samsung Galaxy Ring, a recent leak has provided some insights into its potential price range in India. The leaked information indicates that it could emerge as a significant competitor to other prominent fitness tracking rings currently available in the market.

According to tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) on X, the rumored price for the Samsung Galaxy Ring in India is Rs. 35,000. Meanwhile, in the US, the wearable is speculated to be priced between $300 to $350 (approximately Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000).

This revelation suggests that the Galaxy Ring could pose competition to well-known devices such as the Oura Ring, RingConn Smart Ring, and Evie Ring. The Oura Ring 3 starts at $299 (approximately Rs. 24,000), while the RingConn Smart Ring and Evie Ring are priced at $259 (approximately Rs. 21,000) and $269 (approximately Rs. 23,000), respectively. However, it’s worth noting that these options are currently unavailable in the Indian market.

According to a report by Android Authority, Samsung’s Galaxy Ring may introduce a monthly subscription model, with the monthly fee expected to be “under $10” in the US market.

Initially teased by Samsung in January during the Galaxy S24 series launch event, the Galaxy Ring was further showcased at MWC in February. The official launch of the device is anticipated to occur on July 10 at the upcoming Unpacked event, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Featuring a metallic body housing internal sensors, the Galaxy Ring is confirmed to be offered in three color variants, including black, gold, and silver. It is set to operate on the Samsung Health platform and is projected to provide various health tracking functionalities such as heart rate monitoring, SpO2 (blood oxygen) level measurement, sleep tracking, blood pressure monitoring, and activity tracking, among others.
