The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite name has been observed on the IMDA website; Specifications hinted through Geekbench listing.
It’s rumored that the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite will feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset and will be powered by Android 14.
The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is expected to be revealed soon, although it has not been officially announced by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Details purportedly belonging to the device have surfaced online. A new OnePlus device, recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, is speculated to be the alleged Nord CE 4 Lite. Now, a listing on another certification site appears to confirm the phone’s name. This model is anticipated to follow the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, which debuted in April 2023.
According to a report from MySmartPrice, a listing on Singapore’s IMDA regulatory website indicates that a OnePlus model with the model number CPH2621 is labeled as the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G. However, the listing does not provide any further details about the device. Nevertheless, a OnePlus phone sharing the same model number as the one on the IMDA listing was recently detected on Geekbench.
The Geekbench listing suggests that the device will be equipped with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset and 12GB of RAM. Considering that the model number is now confirmed to be associated with the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite model, the authenticity of these specifications seems questionable. The company recently introduced the OnePlus Nord CE 4 with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, making it unlikely that a Lite model would launch with a more powerful processor.
Earlier, a tipster suggested that the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite could be priced in India at less than Rs. 20,000 and might be a rebranded version of the unreleased Oppo A3. The tipster also mentioned that the upcoming Nord variant could feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, operate on Android 14, and include a 6.67-inch 120Hz full-HD+ AMOLED display, a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, and a 16-megapixel front camera.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G was introduced in India with a starting price of Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration, while the 8GB + 256GB variant was priced at Rs. 21,999. It features an octa-core Snapdragon 695 processor, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charging support, a 6.72-inch 120Hz full-HD+ LCD display, a triple rear camera setup including a 108-megapixel main sensor, and a 16-megapixel front camera.
