OnePlus typically releases its Ace Pro series phones exclusively in China, and the company is anticipated to unveil the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro soon as an upgrade over the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. While the official release date for the next Ace series phone has not been announced yet, a Chinese tipster has leaked information about its battery and charging capabilities. The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is rumored to come with a large battery and is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
OnePlus Ace 3 Pro may have a bigger battery
On Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station posted that the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will come with a 6,100mAh battery and support for 100W fast charging. If accurate, this battery capacity would be substantial, marking a significant increase of 1,100mAh compared to the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro’s 5,000mAh battery.
Previously, the same tipster suggested that the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro would feature a dual-cell battery setup, with each cell having a capacity of 2,970mAh, resulting in a combined capacity of 5,940mAh. This would sum up to a total value of 6,100mAh.

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is anticipated to feature a curved edge screen with a hole punch cutout for the selfie camera positioned at the center. Reports suggest it will boast a 6.78-inch 1.5K resolution 8T LTPO display and is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The device is expected to sport a metal middle frame and a glass body.
OnePlus may opt for a triple rear camera setup on the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, along with 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. It is rumored to house a 16-megapixel front camera.
The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is slated for launch in the third quarter of this year. It will bring improvements over the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, which was introduced in China in August last year with a starting price of CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 34,600) for the base model featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
