The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 series is expected to be unveiled at the next Galaxy Unpacked event. While the company has not yet announced the date, recent reports suggest it could take place in July. The new Galaxy Buds series, which will succeed the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, is said to include a base model and a ‘pro’ model. These earphones are likely to be launched alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. A recent leak has revealed several other specifications and features of these purported true wireless earphones.

According to a report by Android Headlines, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 series is anticipated to launch with an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance. Both models are expected to support Samsung’s SmartThings Find and will likely be available in Silver and White color options.
The report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is likely to come with a two-way speaker and be equipped with adaptive noise control, blade lights, and ambient sound. Conversely, the base version is unlikely to include any of these features and is expected to feature a one-way speaker.
When the active noise cancellation (ANC) feature is enabled, the base Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 is anticipated to deliver a playback time of around five hours, which extends to six hours with ANC turned off. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is expected to offer up to six hours of battery life with ANC activated and up to seven hours with ANC deactivated.
Reportedly, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro could provide a total battery life of up to 30 hours, while the Galaxy Buds 3 may offer a total battery life of up to 24 hours. Additionally, the sizes of the charging cases for the earphones are expected to differ, as per the report.
