Early rumors suggest significant improvements in the performance of the upcoming mobile platform, particularly in terms of GPU capabilities, enhancing gaming experiences. The Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are speculated to be among the first smartphones equipped with this next-generation chipset. Additionally, the purported OnePlus 13 and iQoo 13 are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.
According to reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC is anticipated to deliver outstanding GPU performance, enabling smooth gameplay even for graphically demanding titles like Genshin Impact at native 1080p resolution.
Furthermore, the development progress of the chipset is reportedly ahead of schedule, with Qualcomm likely to make an official announcement after Chinese National Day on October 1. This suggests that a wave of new phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip may hit the market shortly after October 1st.
Previous reports indicated that Xiaomi is poised to lead the charge in unveiling smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Among the potential candidates to debut with this chipset are the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro.
