The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge was globally unveiled on Monday, May 20. Featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite chipset, this laptop is Samsung’s first AI PC, extending its Galaxy AI mobile ecosystem to PCs. According to Samsung, it is certified as a Copilot+ PC and offers on-device AI capabilities with a 45 TOPS NPU for offline processing. Additionally, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge introduces mobile AI features like Live Translate, Chat Assist, and Circle to Search to PCs for the first time.

The Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge is priced starting at $1,349.99 (approximately Rs. 1,12,450) for the 14-inch model and $1,449.99 (approximately Rs. 1,20,778) for the 16-inch model. It comes in a single Sapphire color and will be available for purchase starting June 18.
Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge
The unveiling of the Galaxy Book 4 Edge is a joint effort between Samsung and Microsoft, showcasing the integration of Copilot, Microsoft’s suite of AI services, into the device. This launch occurred shortly after Microsoft revealed its newest AI PCs, including the new Surface Pro (11th Edition) and Surface Laptop (7th Edition), at its Surface and AI event.
The new Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Edge boasts a Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen display with a resolution of 2880×1800 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Available in two sizes, the Edge model comes in 14-inch, while the Edge Pro model comes in 16-inch. Powering the laptop is a Snapdragon X Elite chipset with Adreno GPU, 12-core CPU, and a dedicated 45 TOPS Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. Both models support up to 16GB of RAM and offer storage options of up to 1TB.
As a Copilot+ PC, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge supports AI features like Live Captions, Circle to Search, Live Translate, Recall, and Cocreator. Additionally, users can enhance their video call experience with features such as portrait blur and voice focus, thanks to Windows Studio effects.
The Galaxy Book 4 Edge offers connectivity options such as USB 4.0 and HDMI 2.1 ports. It features a backlit keyboard, supports 65W fast charging via USB Type-C, and is equipped with Bluetooth v5.4 and Wi-Fi 7. The 14-inch variant of the Galaxy Book 4 Edge weighs 1.20kg and has dimensions of 12.30 x 8.81 x 0.43 inches, while the 16-inch variant weighs 1.55kg and measures 13.99 x 9.86 x 0.48 inches.
