Reportedly, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip may be launched in July, preceding the debut of the ‘Galaxy Z Fold FE’.

According to a report, Samsung is anticipated to confirm the specifications and suppliers for the Galaxy S25 series by May.

The Elec reports (in Korean) that Samsung is planning to release the successors to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, namely the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, along with a third entry-level foldable phone later this year in the second half of 2024. Meanwhile, it is anticipated that Samsung will confirm the specifications and suppliers for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series of smartphones by May.

As per the report, Samsung is scheduled to commence component production for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in early May, enabling the company to introduce these foldable phones by mid-July. Samsung revealed the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 on July 26 last year, with its 2022 models arriving in August.

According to the report, approximately two months after unveiling the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6, Samsung is set to introduce a budget-friendly variant of the latter, dubbed the Galaxy Z Fold FE. This more economical model is expected to forego stylus support to maintain affordability and is projected to launch around September or October, coinciding with Apple’s anticipated release of the iPhone 16 series of smartphones.

As per the report, the successors to the Galaxy S24 series of smartphones are anticipated to debut in the beginning of 2025. Samsung is projected to finalize the product specifications and component suppliers for its upcoming flagship handsets by the conclusion of May.

In the previous month, reports indicated that Samsung is developing both a standard Galaxy Z Fold 6 and a Galaxy Z Fold ‘Ultra’ variant, potentially slated for release later this year. The ‘Ultra’ model is expected to be Samsung’s most premium foldable offering, akin to its Ultra models in the Galaxy S series. Further information regarding the company’s foldable lineup is expected to surface in the upcoming weeks and months.
