Redmi Turbo 3 has been introduced in China, featuring notable enhancements compared to last year’s Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The latest model boasts Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and operates on Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface. It sports an OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a maximum refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The device showcases a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary rear camera. Additionally, the Redmi Turbo 3 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. Alongside the standard variant, Xiaomi has also unveiled a limited edition of the Redmi Turbo 3 inspired by Harry Potter.


Price of the Redmi Turbo 3

The Redmi Turbo 3 comes with a price tag of CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 2,299 (around Rs. 26,450). Additionally, the 16GB + 512GB variant costs CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 28,000), and the highest-end 16GB + 1TB model is priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 32,000). It is currently available for pre-order in China in Ice Titanium, Green Blade, and Mo Jing (black) color options. The device is set to go on sale from April 15 onwards.


Redmi Turbo 3 features

The Redmi Turbo 3, equipped with dual SIM (Nano) capability, operates on Xiaomi’s HyperOS interface. It boasts a 6.7-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K (1,220×2,712 pixels), offering a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The display supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and reaches a peak brightness of 2,400 nits. Powering the device is the 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage.

The Redmi Turbo 3 boasts a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.59 aperture, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 20-megapixel front camera.

In terms of connectivity, the Redmi Turbo 3 offers 5G support along with Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. It comes equipped with a variety of sensors including an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, IR remote control, ultrasonic distance sensor, and X-axis linear motor. Additionally, the phone features an in-display fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock. The device also features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and boasts an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.


The Redmi Turbo 3 comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging, providing up to 13 hours of short video playback time on a single charge. Measuring 160×74.4×7.8mm and weighing 179 grams, the device offers convenient portability alongside its powerful battery features.

The Harry Potter limited edition of Redmi Turbo 3 features a distinct design influenced by the “Seven Horcruxes” depicted in the Harry Potter series.
