Oppo has launched the A1s and A1i models in China. These devices run on a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor and are fueled by a 5,000mAh battery, supporting fast charging up to 33W. Both phones offer 12GB of RAM and storage options of up to 512GB. While the Oppo A1s features a dual rear camera setup, the Oppo A1i comes with a single rear camera sensor. These smartphones are set to be available for purchase in China later this month.
Price and availability of Oppo A1s and Oppo A1i
The Oppo A1s is available at CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs. 13,800) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 12GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 1,399 (around Rs. 16,100). It comes in Dusk Mountain Purple, Night Sea Black, and Tianshuibi color options.
In contrast, the Oppo A1i is priced at CNY 1,099 (about Rs. 12,700) and CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 13,800) for the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations, respectively. This phone is available in Night Black and Phantom Purple colors.
Both the Oppo A1s and Oppo A1i are currently open for pre-orders in China through the Oppo Shop website. These devices are scheduled to be available for purchase in the country from April 19, starting at 10 a.m. local time (7:30 a.m. IST).
Specifications and features of the Oppo A1s
The Oppo A1s features a 6.72-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) LCD display with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 180Hz, and a peak brightness level of 680 nits. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC paired with 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS2.2 onboard storage.
In terms of cameras, the Oppo A1s comes with a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor supported by optical image stabilization (OIS), along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired SuperVOOC charging.
The device features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It also offers support for dual 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and USB Type-C connectivity, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack. In terms of dimensions, it measures 165.6mm x 76.0mm x 7.99mm and weighs 193g.
Specifications and features of the Oppo A1i
The Oppo A1i shares certain specifications with the Oppo A1s. It comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ (1,612 x 720 pixels) LCD display. Similar to the Oppo A1s, the A1i also supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 90Hz touch sampling rate. While it is powered by the same chipset as the A1s, the A1i offers up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS2.2 internal storage.
In terms of the camera setup, the Oppo A1i features a solitary 13-megapixel primary rear sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera sensor. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W wired charging via a USB Type-C port. Additionally, the phone shares comparable security and connectivity features with the Oppo A1s. Measuring at 163.8mm x 75.1mm x 8.12mm and weighing 185g, the model maintains a similar physical profile to its counterpart.
