Although Motorola has not officially disclosed the launch details, a tipster has provided insights into the main specifications and pricing of the clamshell foldable phone. According to the tipster, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and feature 50-megapixel dual rear cameras. It is rumored to come with a 4,000mAh battery. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra could make its debut in the US under the name Motorola Razr+ 2024, with the anticipated launch in June.
The alleged pricing and specifications of the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra were shared by tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@onleaks), in collaboration with Smartpix. It is speculated to be priced at $999 (approximately Rs. 83,000) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, which is the same as last year’s Razr 40 Ultra.
Reportedly, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will be released in the US as Motorola Razr+ 2024 and could be available in midnight blue, hot pink, and spring green color options. The expected release date is in June.
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is rumored to operate on Android 14 with the Hello UI overlay. It is anticipated to boast a 6.9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1,080×2,640 pixels, along with a secondary 3.6-inch cover display. Powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, it is expected to come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is likely to retain the dual rear camera setup from its predecessor, featuring a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel 2x telephoto lens, while offering a 32-megapixel front camera.
In terms of battery, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is rumored to house a 4,000mAh battery with USB Type-C charging support. It may also include eSIM functionality and boast an IPX8 water resistance rating. Additionally, the device is said to incorporate a fingerprint sensor and support facial recognition technology.
