Motorola has introduced the Edge 50 Fusion in India, featuring a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and a 6.67-inch curved display.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion offers a vegan leather finish available in Hot Pink and Marshmallow Blue color options, along with the Forest Blue variant.

On Thursday, Lenovo-owned smartphone manufacturer Motorola launched the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. This midrange device comes pre-installed with Android 14 and is promised to receive three major Android OS upgrades. The phone boasts a 6.67-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 68W TurboPower charging. Powering the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset from Qualcomm, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.

Price and Availability of Motorola Edge 50 Fusion in India

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is priced at Rs. 22,999 for the base variant, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s also a higher variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at Rs. 24,999. It comes in Hot Pink and Marshmallow Blue color options with a vegan leather finish, along with a Forest Blue option featuring a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) finish.

Motorola has announced that the Edge 50 Fusion will be available for purchase starting May 22 through Flipkart, the official Motorola website, and retail stores across India. Additionally, customers can get a Rs. 2,000 instant discount on ICICI Bank credit card and credit card EMI transactions.

Specifications and Features of Motorola Edge 50 Fusion

Running on the Android 14-based MyUX, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is a dual SIM smartphone featuring a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) pOLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1,600 nits. The company claims that the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Powering the Edge 50 Fusion is Qualcomm’s 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen2 chip, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

For photography and videography, the newly introduced Motorola Edge 50 Fusion sports a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony LYT-700C sensor and an f/1.88 aperture. Additionally, it features a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, which also functions as a macro camera. Selfies and video calls can be taken using the 32-megapixel front-facing camera sensor with an f/2.45 aperture.

The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion offers up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage and supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and NFC connectivity, along with a USB Type-C port. It includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. Additionally, the phone features a proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, e-compass, and ambient light sensor.

The Edge 50 Fusion by Motorola comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W TurboPower charging with a compatible brick. It boasts an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. As per the company, its dimensions measure 162×73.1×7.9mm (for the vegan leather variant) and 162×73.1×7.8mm (for the PMMA variant).
