Motorola has officially confirmed the imminent launch of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra in India. Expected to be the top model in the flagship series, which includes the Edge 50 Pro and the recently launched Edge 50 Fusion, the Edge 50 Ultra has had its key specifications revealed through a microsite on Flipkart. The device is confirmed to feature advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.

In a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Motorola India announced that its upcoming smartphone will be launched in the country on June 18. Additionally, a dedicated microsite for the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has been created on Flipkart, detailing its key features.
According to the microsite, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will boast a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen will offer a peak brightness of 2500 nits and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, ensuring vibrant and accurate colors. This high-end display is set to provide an exceptional viewing experience, making it a standout feature of the device.
According to Motorola, the Edge 50 Ultra will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is also confirmed to have an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring durability in various environments.
The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and will support Moto AI, Motorola’s suite of artificial intelligence features. This includes the innovative Magic Canvas, which allows users to generate AI images based on text prompts, enhancing the creative capabilities of the device.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, compared to the 16GB RAM available on the global variant. Additionally, Motorola promises three years of assured OS upgrades and up to four years of security updates, ensuring that the device remains up-to-date with the latest software advancements and security enhancements.

The device is confirmed to feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, it will sport a 50-megapixel front camera. The camera system is equipped with AI features such as AI adaptive stabilization and 100x AI super zoom.
Motorola Edge 50 Ultra Price in India
Motorola has yet to officially disclose the price of the Edge 50 Ultra in India. However, its global version is priced at EUR 999 (approximately Rs. 89,000). The smartphone will be available in three color options: Pantone-validated Peach Fuzz, Forest Grey (featuring a silicone vegan leather back panel), and a wood finish.
