Moto S50 Neo Launched with 50-Megapixel Rear Camera and Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 Chip: Price and Specifications

The Moto S50 Neo was launched in China on Tuesday, debuting alongside the Moto Razr 50 series. The company had previously confirmed that the Moto S50 Neo would come with a four-year warranty. This smartphone features a curved pOLED screen, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and Dolby Atmos-supported stereo speakers. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset and includes a 5,000mAh battery that supports 30W wired fast charging. The company has not yet announced plans for a global or Indian release of the device.

The Moto S50 Neo is priced starting at CNY 1,399 (approximately Rs. 16,100) in China for the 8GB + 256GB model, with the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB versions priced at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 18,400) and CNY 1,899 (approximately Rs. 21,800) respectively.
This smartphone will go on sale from June 28 through the Lenovo China e-store. It is available in three color options: Jimo (black), Lanting (blue), and Qingtian (green).

The Moto S50 Neo features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) curved pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, reaching peak local brightness of 1,600 nits and dual SGS eye protection certification. Under the hood, it runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4 RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
In terms of photography, the Moto S50 Neo is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel sensor paired with an ultra-wide angle lens on the rear. For selfies, it boasts a front-facing camera with a 32-megapixel sensor.
The Moto S50 Neo comes with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 30W fast charging and features an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. It supports 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB Type-C connectivity. Additionally, the phone is equipped with Dolby Atmos-backed dual stereo speakers.
In terms of dimensions, the handset measures 161.91 x 73.06 x 7.59mm. The black variant weighs 171g, while the other color options weigh 173g each.
