Microsoft has launched the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 targeting business users, featuring Intel Core Ultra CPUs.

The Microsoft Surface devices powered by Intel Core Ultra processors are intended for business use and will not be available for direct consumer purchase.

On Thursday (March 21), Microsoft introduced the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 targeted at businesses. The company refers to this latest PC lineup as “the first Surface AI PCs designed exclusively for business”. As these devices are tailored for Microsoft’s commercial clientele, they will not be available for direct purchase by consumers. While maintaining the design of their predecessors, both the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 are equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, enhanced Neural Processing Unit (NPU) capabilities, and a dedicated Copilot key.

Microsoft Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 price, availability

The Microsoft Surface Pro 10 is priced starting at $1,199 (approximately Rs. 99,950) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage, featuring the Intel Core Ultra 5 chipset. The highest-priced variant, equipped with 64GB RAM, 1TB internal storage, and the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, is priced at $2,799 (approximately Rs. 2,33,300).

Similarly, the Microsoft Surface Laptop 6 also starts at $1,199 (approximately Rs. 99,950) for the entry-level configuration, which includes the Intel Core Ultra 5 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 256GB internal storage. The variant with the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 64GB RAM, and 1TB internal storage is priced at $2,299 (approximately Rs. 2,50,000). Both devices are available in Black and Platinum color options. Businesses can place orders for these PCs through Microsoft’s commercial store, with shipping scheduled to commence on April 9.

The Surface Pro 10 boasts a 13-inch IPS LCD touchscreen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Microsoft asserts that the display is now 33 percent brighter and features an anti-reflective coating to minimize glare. It is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 5 135U and Core Ultra 7 165U processors, along with the Intel AI Boost NPU. The device offers up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of Gen 4 SSD internal storage.

The Surface Pro 10’s video and audio calling capabilities have been enhanced with the inclusion of a front-facing webcam featuring a 114-degree ultrawide 1440p sensor. This webcam also incorporates AI-powered Windows Studio Effects. Additionally, a dedicated Copilot button is situated next to the spacebar. In terms of connectivity, the device offers support for Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G, and NFC. Furthermore, it includes two USB Type-C ports equipped with Thunderbolt 4, along with a Surface Connect port for charging.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop 6 is available in two display sizes: 13.5-inch and 15-inch. Both displays utilize IPS LCD technology with touchscreen functionality and are shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. These displays also feature an anti-reflective coating to minimize glare. Under the hood, the laptop is powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 5 135U and Core Ultra 7 165U processors, coupled with up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of Gen 4 SSD storage, mirroring the specifications of the Surface Pro 10. Additionally, it includes the new NPU for enhanced performance.
