Leaked hands-on image and renders reveal the design of the Redmi Turbo 3.

Leaked renders suggest that the Redmi Turbo 3 might feature a triple rear camera setup.

Redmi Turbo 3 is set to launch in China soon, marking the company’s debut in the ‘Turbo’ lineup. Leaked images, shared by tipster Fixed Focus Digital on Weibo, provide a hands-on look at the purported Redmi Turbo 3. The images include two renders displaying the smartphone’s rear panel. Although the company has not disclosed the specifications yet, the leaked pictures suggest that the device will feature a triple rear camera setup.

In the first image posted by the tipster, the handset is held to reveal the rear panel, showcasing two cameras on the left side and a third camera positioned in the center. On the right side of the panel, there appears to be a circular LED flash and Redmi branding in small lettering.

As per GSMArena, the main highlight of the rear camera setup will be a 200-megapixel primary camera equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, the phone is said to feature another unspecified secondary camera alongside a macro camera situated in the center.

In the meantime, the tipster has shared two renders of the alleged Redmi Turbo 3 in white and black variants, displaying the same design as seen in the hands-on image. The leaked renders also suggest that the rear panel of the phone curves towards the right and left sides. On the left side of the phone, as observed from the rear panel, both the volume and power buttons are visible.

A few days earlier, a company executive confirmed the plans of the Chinese smartphone maker to launch a new smartphone named the Redmi Turbo 3. Expected to succeed the Redmi Note 12 Turbo in China as part of a new smartphone series, the Redmi Turbo 3 carries the codename “Little Tornado.”

Redmi General Manager Thomas Wang has officially announced that the upcoming Redmi smartphone will be equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Earlier reports also indicated that the device would incorporate this chipset, alongside a 6.78-inch OLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, as well as a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. There are speculations that this phone may eventually be released outside of China under the name Poco F6. Further details regarding both devices are expected to emerge in the upcoming weeks.
