Leaked design renders of the Moto G85 5G reveal a device featuring a curved display and slim bezels.

The Moto G85 5G might run on an undisclosed Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 3 SoC.

The Moto G85 5G is anticipated to debut later this year as a follow-up to the Moto G84 5G, which debuted in India in September 2023. Numerous reports and leaks have surfaced regarding the purported Motorola device, hinting at an impending launch. While an exact launch date remains unknown, leaked design renders of the smartphone have surfaced online. Additionally, the Moto G85 5G price was recently leaked through an accidental retail listing.

A blog post by ToolJunction shared leaked design renders of the Moto G85 5G. The device is showcased in a blue color variant featuring a dual rear camera setup. Inscriptions on the module indicate that the phone will sport a 50-megapixel primary camera equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS).

The rear camera setup of the Moto G85 5G showcases a distinct design from its predecessor. Instead of a single module, the two camera sensors are housed within separate circular units arranged vertically, accompanied by an elliptical LED flash unit.

According to the leaked renders, the Moto G85 5G may sport a rear panel featuring a matte, textured finish. The power and volume buttons are situated along the right edge of the device, while a USB Type-C charging port is located at the bottom edge.

On the front side, the Moto G85 5G showcases a curved display adorned with slim, uniform bezels, a departure from the flat, slightly thicker bezels seen on the previous Moto G84 5G model. The front panel also reveals a centered hole-punch cutout at the top for the front-facing camera.

Recently, the Moto G85 5G, codenamed ‘malmo’, surfaced on Geekbench featuring a chipset rumored to be Qualcomm’s undisclosed Snapdragon 4 Gen 3. The listing hinted at the device possibly running on an Android 14-based user interface, equipped with an Adreno 619 GPU, and boasting 8GB of RAM.

In a recent development, a European retailing site inadvertently revealed pricing details for the Moto G85 5G, indicating a potential cost of EUR 300 (approximately Rs. 27,100). This accidental listing has sparked further speculation about the anticipated smartphone’s affordability and market competitiveness.
