The rumored arrival of the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 is expected later this year.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 is anticipated to debut soon, succeeding the Pixel Buds Pro introduced at Google’s I/O event in May 2022. While Google hasn’t officially confirmed the launch yet, reports suggest they might unveil during Google’s I/O event in May or alongside the Pixel 9 series smartphones. Recently, details about the charging case of the upcoming TWS earphones have emerged online.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, the charging case for the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2, with model number GH8TQ, was spotted on the UL Demko website. The case is listed with a 650mAh Li-ion battery, slightly larger than the 620mAh battery in the original Pixel Buds Pro.

Additionally, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 was also found on the SatefyKorea certification website with the same model number. The listing reveals that the manufacturing company for the TWS earphones’ charging cases is Chongqing VDL Electronics, a Chinese firm.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro debuted in India with a price tag of Rs. 19,990 and are offered in Charcoal, Coral, Fog, and Lemongrass color variants. They boast features like active noise cancellation (ANC) and a dedicated transparency mode. These earphones also support multipoint connectivity, enabling simultaneous pairing with multiple devices.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro purportedly provide a combined battery life of up to 31 hours without ANC and up to 20 hours with ANC activated. The charging case is compatible with both USB Type-C for wired charging and Qi wireless charging. It holds an IPX2 rating for splash resistance, while the individual earbuds are certified with IPX4 ratings.
