Adobe Experience Platform AI Assistant, featuring content generation and automation capabilities, is now generally available.

The Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) AI assistant was previewed at the Adobe Summit in March 2024.

Adobe announced the general availability of the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) AI assistant on Thursday. The AEP is a customer experience management platform that enables businesses to monitor and analyze customer data and execute marketing campaigns for their products and services. First previewed at the Adobe Summit in March 2024, the AI assistant is now accessible to businesses worldwide. This AI chatbot features analytical and content-generation capabilities, aiding in the automation of various operational workflows for businesses.

Adobe AEP gets an AI assistant

In a newsroom post announcing the general availability of the AI chatbot, Adobe emphasized that this conversational interface will provide businesses with deeper insights into their customer data and offer ways to enhance workflow efficiency. The AI assistant will integrate with various Adobe Experience Cloud applications, including the Real-Time Customer Data Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Customer Journey Analytics.

By leveraging data from these apps, the AI assistant can answer various technical questions about a company’s products and services. Additionally, it can automate tasks, simulate marketing outcomes, and generate new audiences and customer journeys. Adobe mentioned that it has developed generative experience models to power this chatbot.

The capabilities of the AEP AI assistant are divided into three categories. Adobe refers to the first as Product Expertise. The chatbot can generate insights from customer data in natural language for easier comprehension. It can answer complex questions such as “How do I build an audience segment?” or “What is an identity map?” and assist with troubleshooting tasks. Adobe claims this feature allows businesses to obtain operational insights about datasets, audiences, and customer marketing journeys without needing to run SQL (Structured Query Language) queries.

While this feature is not yet available, businesses will soon be able to use the AI assistant for content generation and automation tasks. The chatbot can create marketing assets, including emails and web pages with copy, design, and images via Adobe Firefly. Another upcoming feature is predictive insights and recommendations. With this capability, the AI chatbot will provide businesses with predictive insights.

For example, Adobe stated that users can ask the AI assistant questions like “How many conversions should I expect from this segment?” and “How would that change if I applied an additional segment filter?” Running such predictive analysis typically takes days, but the company claims the chatbot will complete these simulations in seconds to provide actionable insights. Additionally, it will be able to recommend suggestions to achieve the desired outcome.

It is noteworthy that Adobe did not disclose the specific large language model used for the AI assistant. Additionally, it did not mention any error rate in the AI’s responses. Businesses can visit the AEP website to discover custom pricing details based on their specific requirements.
