A purported sighting of the CMF Watch Pro 2 on the BIS website hints at an upcoming launch in India.

The official confirmation for CMF Watch Pro 2 is still pending.

CMF Watch Pro 2 is expected to debut later this year, following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the CMF Watch Pro, which was introduced in September 2023. While there has been no official confirmation of the smartwatch’s existence, reports indicate that its launch may be imminent. Although the specific name “CMF Watch Pro 2” has not been confirmed, a new CMF model was recently discovered on a certification site, leading to speculation that it could indeed be the Watch Pro 2. It is anticipated to boast improvements over its predecessor.

A smartwatch bearing the model number D398 was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, as reported by 91Mobiles. This is believed to be the CMF Watch Pro 2. However, no further details about the device were provided in the listing. Nevertheless, the BIS certification suggests that a launch in India may be on the horizon.

Interestingly, the existing CMF Watch Pro was listed on BIS under the model number D395. The similarity in numbering indicates that the upcoming wearable could serve as a successor to this initial model. Nonetheless, it’s important to approach this information with caution, particularly regarding the product’s name. Earlier this year, Nothing revised its naming conventions for audio products, and considering that CMF is a Nothing sub-brand, it wouldn’t be surprising if similar changes were made to other items in its lineup.

Irrespective of its name, the follow-up to the CMF Watch Pro is anticipated to bring enhancements. Potential upgrades may include a larger screen, improved battery life, and other improvements. The upcoming smartwatch from CMF under the Nothing brand might also incorporate AI-based features, mirroring the updates seen in its current audio products. Additional information about the watch is expected to surface in the coming weeks through official announcements, leaks, and further listings.

The CMF Watch Pro is presently accessible in India for Rs. 3,999. It features a square-shaped 1.96-inch AMOLED display, a 340mAh battery promising up to 13 days of usage, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
