Key features of the Honor MagicBook X14 Pro (2024) and MagicBook X16 Pro (2024) have been disclosed prior to their launch in India.

The launch of Honor MagicBook X14 Pro (2024) and Honor MagicBook X16 Pro (2024) in India is imminent. The company has unveiled several important features of these upcoming laptops, which are anticipated to offer enhancements compared to the base Honor MagicBook X14 and Honor MagicBook X16 models. Honor has confirmed their availability on Amazon and disclosed details regarding the display, processor, and battery of the Pro variants. These models will feature full-HD anti-glare displays, backlit keyboards, and support for wired fast charging.

Honor has yet to confirm the launch date for the Honor MagicBook X14 Pro (2024) and the Honor MagicBook X16 Pro (2024), but the Amazon microsite confirms that these laptops will be available for purchase in India through the e-commerce platform.

While Honor has not disclosed the prices, considering these upcoming laptops bear the Pro designation, they are expected to be priced higher than the base models. It’s worth noting that the Honor MagicBook X14 (2023) starts at Rs. 48,990 in India, and the Honor MagicBook X16 (2023) is listed at Rs. 50,990 for the 8GB + 512GB variants. The base model of the 16-inch variant was also refreshed earlier this year and launched at Rs. 44,990.

The teaser on the Amazon microsite has confirmed that both the Honor MagicBook X14 Pro (2024) and the Honor MagicBook X16 Pro (2024) will sport 14-inch and 16-inch full-HD (1,920 x 1,200 pixels) IPS anti-glare displays, respectively. These displays offer a peak brightness level of 300nits and have a 16:10 aspect ratio. Additionally, they will support an e-book mode. The teaser images indicate that the laptops will feature metallic finishes.

Honor has officially announced that the laptops will feature 13th Gen Intel Core i5 ‘H-series’ CPUs, along with up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 512GB of NVMe SSD storage. These laptops will come with Windows 11 Home pre-installed. The Pro variants will include AI-powered noise cancellation, high-resolution stereo speakers, and full-sized backlit keyboards. Additionally, they will be equipped with 2-in-1 fingerprint sensors for enhanced security.

The MagicBook X14 Pro (2024) and the MagicBook X16 Pro (2024) models are also claimed to be backed by 60Wh batteries with support for 65W wired fast charging via a USB Type-C port. They are supposed to offer HD video playback time of up to 11.5 hours. 

The MagicBook models from Honor also feature HDMI and USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 connectivity options. They are said to include Honor’s device clone and Honor Share features as well. The 14-inch variant weighs 1.4kg and has a thickness of 16.5mm, while the 16-inch variant weighs 1.7kg and has a thickness of 17.9mm.
