MSI has launched the Claw Handheld Gaming PC featuring an Intel Core Ultra Processor and 16GB of RAM. The device’s price and specifications have been revealed.

The MSI Claw, now available for purchase in the US and select markets, marks the brand’s entry into the handheld gaming sector after its debut at CES 2024 in January. Competing with devices like the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go, the MSI Claw offers the A1M-052US base variant equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 5-135H processor and running on Windows 11 Home. Additionally, two higher-end variants, powered by the Core Ultra 7 processor, are set to hit the shelves on March 12.

The entry-level MSI Claw A1M-052US model, featuring the Core Ultra 5 chip and 512GB SSD storage, is priced at $699 (approximately Rs. 57,793) in the US. On the other hand, the A1M-051US and A1M-050US variants, equipped with the Core Ultra 7 chipset and 512GB and 1TB SSD storage, respectively, are priced at $749 (approximately Rs. 61,933) and $799 (approximately Rs. 66,067). Currently, the base model is available for purchase in a single Black color option on the MSI store in the US and select retailers in other regions.

The MSI Claw handheld device features a 7-inch full-HD (1,920×1080 pixels) IPS touchscreen display with 500 nits peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 7-155H processor and comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Home.
The MSI Claw handheld device is equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and offers up to 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD storage, which can be expanded using a MicroSD card slot. It features Intel Arc graphics for enhanced visual performance. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a Thunderbolt 4-enabled USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack.
Additionally, it comes with dual speakers, RGB ABXY buttons and thumb sticks, a D-pad, triggers, bumpers, HD haptics, and a fingerprint scanner. The device incorporates Cooler Boost HyperFlow technology to manage heat effectively during gaming sessions. It houses a 6-cell, 53WHr battery with support for 65W USB PD 3.0 charging. The MSI Claw measures 294 x 117 x 21.2mm and weighs 675g.
