Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy F15 5G will be eligible for four generations of Android upgrades along with five years of security updates.
The Samsung Galaxy F15 5G debuted in India on Monday (March 4) as the latest addition to the brand’s F-series smartphones. Featuring a 90Hz AMOLED display and powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, this new handset is available in three color variants. It boasts a sizable battery promising up to two days of usage. The Galaxy F15 5G appears to be a rebranded iteration of the Galaxy A15 5G, which made its debut in India back in December last year.

“The Galaxy F15 5G is available in two variants: the base model with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage is priced at Rs. 12,999, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs Rs. 14,499. It comes in Ash Black, Groovy Violet, and Jazzy Green color options and can be purchased from Flipkart and the Samsung India website. The phone will be available for early sale starting today at 7:00pm IST.
The Galaxy A15 5G, which was launched in December last year, started at Rs. 19,499 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration.”

Samsung guarantees up to five years of security updates and four years of operating system upgrades for this new device. It boasts a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, featuring a waterdrop-style notch at the center. Powering the handset is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM.
The Galaxy F15 5G features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel shooter. For selfies, it sports a 13-megapixel front camera. The device comes with 128GB of built-in storage, expandable up to 1TB.
