Here’s the charging mechanism for the Galaxy Ring
Weibo tipster Ice Universe has shared an image of what appears to be the charging case for the Galaxy Ring. The design of the case suggests a stylish look, resembling jewelry boxes with flat edges and a glossy finish, somewhat akin to Samsung’s Galaxy Buds charging cases. Inside the case, there is a raised circular section that seems designed to secure the wearable in place. This cradle includes a charging pin and an indicator that likely displays the charging status. While the render depicts the case in white, it’s anticipated that Samsung will offer it in various colors. Moreover, it is expected to support wireless charging.
The Galaxy Ring was initially teased in January, with the company providing a sneak peek of the device at the MWC in February. It’s anticipated to be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, which is scheduled for July 10. Samsung plans to release the Galaxy Ring in the US around August.
In India, the Galaxy Ring is expected to be priced at Rs. 35,000, while it might be priced between $300 and $350 (approximately Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000) in the US.

The Galaxy Ring will operate on Samsung’s Health platform and is confirmed to be available in three color options. It is anticipated to feature heart rate tracking and SpO2 (blood oxygen) monitoring. The available sizes are expected to range from 5 to 12. The 5, 6, and 7 size variants are speculated to have a 17mAh battery, while the 8, 9, 10, and 11 sizes may come with an 18.5mAh battery. The size 12 is rumored to house a 22.5mAh battery.
