Poco Pad to Launch Globally Alongside the Poco F6 Series on May 23; Teased to Feature a Large Display
The Poco Pad is rumored to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad Pro.
The Poco Pad is set to launch globally later this week. The company has announced the tablet’s launch date and teased its design in a promotional poster. While specific details about the tablet remain unknown, recent leaks suggest that the Poco Pad might be a rebranded version of the Redmi Pad Pro, which was introduced in China in April this year. Both tablets are expected to have similar specifications.

In a post on X, Poco Global confirmed that the Poco Pad will launch globally on May 23 alongside the Poco F6 series. The post includes a promotional image that teases the upcoming tablet as the “large display entertainment king.” The teaser only shows the flat display of the tablet.
The Poco Pad is rumored to be a rebranded Redmi Pad Pro, which features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, a 12.1-inch 2.5K resolution LCD screen, and a 10,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging.
Similar to the Redmi tablet, the Poco Pad is expected to feature an 8-megapixel main camera on the back and an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens on the front. It may come with Android 14-based HyperOS. The Redmi Pad Pro includes four stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C. The Poco Pad is likely to have the same features.

The Redmi Pad Pro is available in Dark Grey, Shallow Blue Bay, and Smoke Green (translated from Chinese) colors. In China, it starts at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,300) for the 6GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 1,599 (approximately Rs. 18,400) and CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 20,700), respectively. Poco has not yet revealed the price of the Poco Pad tablet.
