On Tuesday, Redmi Pad SE made its debut in India as the newest tablet offering from the Chinese smartphone maker. It boasts Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset, offering up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. Crafted from an aluminum alloy, the tablet features an 11-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Operating on MIUI Pad 14, which is based on Android 13, the Redmi Pad SE is powered by an 8,000mAh battery and supports 10W charging via a USB Type-C port.

Redmi Pad SE price in India, availability
The Redmi Pad SE is priced starting from Rs. 12,999 in India for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB models are priced at Rs. 13,999 and Rs. 14,999, respectively. It will be offered in Graphite Grey, Lavender Purple, and Mint Green color options. The tablet will be up for sale through Amazon, Flipkart, and Xiaomi retail outlets in India beginning April 24. Customers can avail of a Rs. 1,000 instant discount on ICICI Bank credit and debit card transactions.

The new Redmi Pad SE features an 11-inch WUXGA (1,920×1,200 pixels) LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, reaching up to 400 nits peak brightness, and a pixel density of 207ppi. It is powered by a 6nm octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Operating on Android 13-based MIUI Pad 14, the tablet comes equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture for capturing photos and videos. Additionally, it boasts a 5-megapixel front-facing camera dedicated to video calls and tablet unlocking functionality, as stated by the company.

The Redmi Pad SE provides 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It features dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, along with a virtual ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and a hall sensor. Additionally, it includes a 3.5mm headphone jack. The tablet is powered by an 8,000mAh battery with 10W charging support, and it comes with a charging brick included in the package.
