The Vivo V40 SE 5G has appeared on online listings, revealing its key specifications. The phone is set to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery supporting wired fast charging, a triple rear camera setup, and a full-HD+ AMOLED display. It is confirmed to come with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, but other RAM and storage configurations have not been disclosed by the company. The device is said to provide over 16 hours of YouTube streaming on a single charge.

Available in Crystal Black and Leather Purple color options, the Vivo V40 SE 5G can be viewed on Vivo’s EU website and the Vivo Austria site. However, details regarding its price and availability are yet to be revealed.

The Vivo V40 SE 5G is listed with a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) AMOLED display featuring up to a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is equipped with an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, expandable virtually by an additional 8GB. The device offers 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage, expandable by up to 1TB via a microSD card. It runs on FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14.

The Vivo V40 SE 5G features a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter, accompanied by an LED flash unit. Positioned within the centred hole-punch slot at the top of the screen, the front camera houses a 16-megapixel sensor.

With a 5,000mAh battery capacity, the Vivo V40 SE 5G supports 44W wired fast charging, promising to charge the device from zero to 50 percent in just 25 minutes. It boasts an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance and features an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C.

The dimensions of the Crystal Black version of the Vivo V40 SE 5G are 163.17mm x 75.81mm x 7.79mm, with a weight of 185.5g. In contrast, the Leather Purple variant is slightly thicker at 7.99mm and weighs 191g.
