Samsung may introduce the Galaxy S25 Ultra next year as a follow-up to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which debuted in January. Although the launch of the rumored Galaxy S25 Ultra is still several months away, a source has indicated that Samsung is currently evaluating four prototypes of the device, each with slight variations in design. According to leaked images, Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone could bear a resemblance to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

User PandaFlash (X: @ReaSufyanWaleed) leaked an image featuring four smartphone designs through a post on X (formerly Twitter). According to the tipster, Samsung is currently evaluating these prototypes for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the rumored Galaxy S25 Ultra. The four designs seem to share similarities, with minor alterations compared to the Galaxy S24 Ultra model.

In the initial prototype, the phone features narrow bezels and a design akin to the present flagship model. Conversely, the third and fourth renditions display a slimmer frame, with the latter exhibiting slightly curved edges. The second variant portrays a device with exceptionally slender bezels and an extremely thin frame. Each version showcases what seems to be an S Pen positioned at the bottom edge on the left side.

It’s important to highlight that these leaked designs have emerged many months prior to the expected launch of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. According to a recent report, Samsung aims to finalize the product specifications and select component suppliers for its upcoming flagship smartphones by the end of May. We can anticipate hearing further details about the successors to the Galaxy S24 Ultra in the forthcoming months.

In contrast to the Galaxy S24 series released this year, Samsung is anticipated to outfit all smartphones in next year’s lineup with Exynos chipsets. In January, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ with Exynos 2400 chips in global markets, while customers in North America and China were offered a variant powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 Ultra features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset across all markets.
