Reports suggest that iQoo is in the process of developing a smartphone featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which might be introduced to the market under the name iQoo Neo 10 Pro.

iQoo may be in the process of developing a successor to its iQoo Neo 9 Pro, which debuted earlier this year. As per information leaked by a Chinese tipster, the upcoming smartphone could feature the robust Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm, the same chip found in Vivo’s flagship iQoo 12 model. Although the company has not officially revealed any details about a new Neo-series phone, leaked specifications indicate potential features such as the display, camera, and fast charging capabilities.

Digital Chat Station, a renowned tipster known for leaking information from Chinese sources, has revealed details about an upcoming smartphone. This unnamed device is expected to come with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and boast a high-quality 1.5K LPTO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone’s rear panel is rumored to be crafted from either glass or leather, omitting a plastic frame.

According to the leak, the handset will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera along with an unspecified secondary camera. Additionally, it is speculated to house a “large” battery with 120W fast charging support, as well as include a short-focus fingerprint scanner and an X-axis vibration motor.

Although the original post on Weibo by the tipster did not specify the name of the alleged handset, it was suggested in a response to users that the phone could be either from Realme or from iQoo. Based on the provided specifications, it is speculated that this device might serve as the successor to the iQoo Neo 9 Pro, which debuted in February.

The recently launched Neo 9 Pro by the company is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of imaging, the smartphone includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony IMX920 sensor, alongside an 8-megapixel secondary camera.

Equipped with a 5,160mAh battery, the device offers 120W SuperVOOC wired charging support. Additionally, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro features an optical fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and boasts an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, as stated by the company.
