The presence of a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset in the Realme GT Neo 6 SE has been officially confirmed.

The launch of the Realme GT Neo 6 SE is anticipated in China shortly, with the company starting to hint at the specifications of the device. Through the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has revealed the name of the device and stated that it will be equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 7 series chipset from Qualcomm. This model is expected to be introduced alongside the Realme GT Neo 6, which is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, offering more power.

In a Weibo announcement, Realme confirmed that the Realme GT Neo 6 SE will feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor. This midrange chipset, identified by the part number SM7675, will also be used in the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3V, slated for release in China. Realme has not provided information on the launch date of the handset in China or other markets, including India.

The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 from Qualcomm is set to be the top-performing model in the Snapdragon 7 series. Benchmark tests have unveiled its specifications, showcasing a configuration with one Cortex-X4 Prime core running at 2.8GHz, four Cortex-A720 ‘performance’ cores operating at 2.61GHz, and three ‘efficiency’ cores clocked at 1.9GHz. This chipset shares a comparable architecture with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which debuted in October 2023.
As per earlier leaks, the next iteration of the Realme GT Neo 5 SE is rumored to sport a 1.5K LTPO OLED display, comparable to those seen on high-end flagship smartphones, as suggested by a Chinese source. Additionally, reports indicate that the device will come equipped with a 5,500mAh battery, supporting 100W fast wired charging.

In the previous year, Realme introduced the Realme GT Neo 5 SE, which boasted a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and a triple rear camera configuration highlighted by a 64-megapixel primary camera. The device showcased a 6.74-inch 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and housed a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. It is anticipated that the company will carry over the 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging capability from the GT Neo 5 SE to its successor upon its launch in China in the upcoming weeks.
